Our purpose is to contribute so that companies can develop and expand their business ecosystems, promoting experiences that result in strategic partnerships, access to influencers from different markets and, our main asset, dialogue with Israeli innovation leaders.

Format

A morning of immersion via streaming covering the most advanced Israeli technology in the context of the Amazon. The event has a strong schedule featuring major global speakers of the area.

Leaders of large Brazilian companies including Banco Itaú, Suzano, Boticário and Israeli technology companies, entrepreneurs and specialists. The event will also be attended by the Israeli Ambassador to Brazil, Yossi Shelley, and Vice President of Brazil, Hamilton Mourão.

Mariano Cenamo

Founder and Director of New Business at IDESAM – Institute for the Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Amazon

Coordinator of the Partnership for the Amazon Platform (PPA) Acceleration and Impact Investments Program

Mariano is a social entrepreneur, co-founder and director of new business at the Institute for the Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Amazon (IDESAM). He dedicates his career to the search for innovative solutions to reconcile socioeconomic development and forest conservation in the Amazon. In recent years, this has become a reference in building the business ecosystem of impact and attraction of private investments to the Amazon. Mariano is part of the Lemann Foundation’s leader network and several councils and initiatives aimed at sustainable development in Brazil.

Ilona Szabó

Co-founder and president of the Igarapé Institute, a think and do tank that produces research, technologies, and proposals for public policies in the areas of public, digital and climate security. The Institute works with governments, the private sector and civil society to design data-based solutions to complex challenges. Ilona has a master’s degree in International Studies from Uppsala University in Sweden and was a fellow at Columbia University in NY. She is a columnist for Folha de São Paulo daily newspaper and the author of three books.

Jacques Marcovitch

Professor emeritus at the College of Economics, Administration and Accounting at the University of São Paulo, of which he was dean (1997/2001). Author of among other works of «The management of the Amazon: business actions, public policies, studies and proposals. (EDUSP). Senior Professor at the Institute of International Relations USP. He earned a master’s degree from Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University and a PhD from USP. Member of the Deliberative Council of the Biblioteca Brasiliana Mindlin, member of the Deliberative Council of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID), in Geneva.

Denis Benchimol Minev

Denis is President of Bemol and co-founder and advisor of Fundação Amazonas Sustentável (FAS). In 2012 he was named Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum. Denis served as Secretary of Planning and Economic Development for the State of Amazonas and as a financial analyst for Goldman Sachs. He earned a degree in Economics from Stanford University, a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from Stanford University, as well as an MBA from Wharton School.

Tatiana Schor

Graduated in Economics, Master’s in Geography (Human Geography, 1999) and PhD in Environmental Science (2005) from the University of São Paulo. She is a professor in the Department of Geography at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM). Coordinates the Study and Research Program of the Urban Network of Calha Solimões-Amazonas by the Center for Studies and Research of Cities in the Amazon – NEPECAB.
She is currently Executive Secretary for Science, Technology and Innovation for the State of Amazonas.

Yariv Levy

Yariv Levy has been with Avnon Group since 2013. In 2019, he became vice president of business development for Skylock. Yariv has more than 10 years of experience in the HLS and Defense markets, has successfully led several technology collaborations that have enabled Avnon to compete in a wide range of HLS and defense areas.

Kleber Coelho

CEO of Bembras Defense and Security and Managing Partner of Bemagro.
Active in the area of drones for public security, precision agriculture and technological solutions for the police and armed forces.
He is a Civil Engineer and has several specializations in Brazil and abroad.

Uri Yoselevich

Founder and CEO of Dock Tech, Naval academy graduate, B.S. degree in computer engineering.

Israel Talpaz

CEO and Co-Founder at SeeTree. He has 30 years of experience in the government sector and is a specialist in the construction and application of technologies and analytical processes to reach higher grounds.

Roi Shilo

Co-founder and CTO of Planet Watchers. Visionary entrepreneur with strong business orientation. Over a decade of experience in the field of remote sensing and computer vision. David Feffer

A member of Suzano’s third generation of shareholders, he has been the President of Suzano Holding and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Suzano SA from 2003

He serves as a member of the Consultative Council of the Brazilian Tree Industry (IBÁ), is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alef Peretz School, in addition to participating in various social and cultural institutions.

David studied Business Administration in Brazil and has specialization courses at Harvard Business School, Columbia University, IMD, The Aspen Institute, Singularity University and Stanford University.

Guilherme Horn

Among the leading specialists in Innovation in Brazil, mixing experiences as an Entrepreneur, Investor, Executive and Business Adviser.

As an executive, he worked for multinational companies, the last being ACCENTURE, where he was Innovation Director for Latin America for 5 years. He is currently the Strategy and Innovation Director at Banco BV. Horn holds a master’s degree from PUC-RJ, a PhD from UMSA and a specialization from MIT.

Candido Bracher

President and CEO of Itaú Unibanco, Brazil’s largest privately-owned bank, since 2017. Graduated in Business Administration at FGV-SP, he joined Itaú in 2003, after its merger with BBA Creditanstalt, of which he was a founding partner in 1988. He is married and the father of three children.

Miguel Krigsner

Founder and President of the Board, Grupo Boticário
He graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry in 1975 from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). Two years later, in 1977, he fulfilled his dream of having his own business and opened a small hand-manipulation pharmacy, thus Boticário was born.
Concern for the environment and society have always been important to him, thus he pioneered Grupo Boticário Foundation for Nature Protection, and Grupo Boticário Institute, to promote social development in Brazil through social activity, encouraging projects and cultural spaces.

Shauli Nakar

CO-Founder & Managing Partner of Ewave. He is an information system engineer and a graduate of the Technion University. Nakar has managed and led major medical projects in Israel Europe and US, including tele-health and integration management of medical systems, digital health, medical files and more. He serves as an information systems consultant to different health organizations including the Israeli Ministry of Health and was one of the pioneers in planning and developing Tele-health solutions.

Yossi Jan

CO-Founder & CEO of Ewave
He served as Vice president of IT in Maccabi healthcare, the second- largest HMO in Israel for 20 years and led the digital revolution in Maccabi healthcare. After Maccabi he served as the CEO of the IT subsidiary of the largest Israeli insurance company for five years. He has a global reputation in health policy, health processes, health IT and tele-health solutions and he advises to health ministers and health organizations in Tele-health and digital health.
He earned a master’s degree in health administration and graduated information system engineering degree from the Technion University in Israel.

Luis Felipe Adaime

He created comic books about the environment and dreamed of going to the Rio92 conference.
Luis started his career at Credit Suisse. Later, he worked at BRZ Investimentos and York Capital.
In 2020, Luis transitioned from his career in the financial market to one of environmental issues. And, with the mission of preserving the Amazon forests through the purchase of carbon credits, he founded MOSS.

Graduated in Management Science and Engineering with a specialization in Economics from Stanford University (California, USA)

Yossi Yemin

Entrepreneur and founder of SpacePharma SA, he serves as acting President of BOD and as CEO of SpacePharma R&D.

He gained more than 30 years of experience with large-scale development projects in the United States, Israel and Canada and had the opportunity to command hundreds of subordinates under extreme conditions of service in the Israeli Intelligence Corps.

He graduated in Business Management from UOP, San Diego, CA, USA.
